dr. visit...

today Tate had her "echo" done... she did amazingly well for the first 15 minutes - they put Barney on the t.v. for her and she became completely enveloped by the big purple dino, but then it was like she woke up and BOOM... done with that! She flipped.

We finally got her calmed down after over a half hour of wrestling with her, and the technician saying..."we can always try this again another time... we should send her to Riley Children's Hospital and they can possibly sedate her...." Yeah, right. She does NOT forget that easily, and it would be the same battle. So... finally she wore herself out from the wrestling and screaming, and conked out, and the poor lady was able to finish the ultrasound. Poor thing only had like 3 pictures left to take... and it took over a half hour to calm the strong one down. She is SO strong. I know she was confused, but she got to a point where she decided she just didn't want to do this anymore and was DONE. I love the girl more than anything in this world... but she sure made us sweat!!! Whew!

The technician only saw one leaky valve, and said it was a pretty common, small thing. She said she really can't tell us about the ultrasound, but we should know something by Monday at the earliest. I figure no news is good news when it comes to this. We will pray for everything to be just fine!

When we got home, she wanted her Chicken "Muggets" (nuggets) and french fries... and so we had a picnic lunch on the floor. Then she found her pink boots and decided she NEEDED to wear them the rest of the day... it was HOT today, too... and her feet were soaked, but those boots had to be on. Here she is in all her glory ;)

{in her too big pink boots...}

{fixing her hair, it was windy...}

{"these boots were made for walkin'"...}
