So, this post is just a little bit of bragging on my part...
I have to show what I have been working on since Tate's BIRTHDAY in March of this year. It's taken me a long time to finish/work on because it is really hard to find large chunks of time to sit and paint when there is 1st of all, a huge belly in the way (my excuse from before Beau was born), 2nd --- a busy busy 3 year old who wants to "help", 3rd, a new baby, and 4th, a TON of photos to work on that should take priority over my "fun" time. So... even though there is still one more chair to finish, I couldn't wait to take pics and set up her (& Beau's, someday) art station/lunch table.I'm also posting pics of her time out chair that I painted - it's a rocking chair that someone had thrown away after they spray primed it white... trash to treasure, people! So, I had at it and came up with this.
Beau's future time-out chair is the red and white polka dot one at the art table.
This is also a step-stool that I painted for Tate, too, to go along with her table and time-out chair. I'm thinking of trying to sell some things like this on etsy... do you think they might be worth trying???and I can't end a post without a cutie pic of one of my little monsters, now can I? here is one of Beau today napping with his favorite blankie from Aunt Candace... he seriously loves this little taggie blanket... thank you Candace!
