busy busy busy busy busy...

My Mom has told me that the word busy can be seen as an acronym for the following:

B - eing
U - under
S - Satan's
Y - Yoke

I so believe this is true, especially at this point in time of our lives. We are SWAMPED! And it sure can put you to each other's throats when you are feeling the pressure. Not that it is bad that we are so busy, because I am truly thankful for all of my clients that have been sent my way lately, but OH MY... it could all not have come at a worse time! The little guy is due to arrive in LESS than 3 weeks... THREE WEEKS PEOPLE! June 17th... craziness. Don't get me wrong, we are SO excited to meet him, and just are ecstatic to bring another little one into this crazy world of ours... but it all can be a bit overwhelming. Tate is definitely feeling the pressure mounting as the days get closer and closer... but she has been asking more and more lately, "Is he done cooking yet? And can he come out and play soon?" This is WAY better than her pushing my belly and smacking at it. She also has taken to kissing my belly and telling him that she loves him and is kissing on him. This is just TOO sweet for words :)

My BEAUTIFUL Grandma
just finished up his quilt as well and we have added that to the room. Now that I have truly witnessed all of the time, effort, blood, sweat and tears that goes into making a quilt, I will NEVER treat a quilt the same again... and neither should you. You treat that thing like it is GOLD!!! And this will be treated exactly that way... it will be hanging on his wall, it is truly a work of art. I will take a pic and post asap.

There are clothes piling up in his closet... I've found some PRETTY cute little man clothes lately... nothing like the stockpiles of cutesy girl clothes... but definitely getting him some fun variety for the first few months. The humongo size box of diapers has been purchased as well as the matching box of wipes. A pack of paci's are in the closet, awaiting his cute itty bitty mouth :) I'm wondering if we should get some bottles...

But for now, even in our busy-ness... we have been able to do some fun things this past month. We still have our Mondays with my Grandparents and enjoy that day as often as we can! We (I) am so thankful that we are home and able to visit with them whenever possible... it is SO important that Tate knows them... and visa versa...

And we also have started the weekly trips to the lake... but have been enjoying Dayna & Adam's lake more than Mom & Dad's so far... as theirs is still under renovation from the lovely flood last summer. I will have lots of "Tate the fish" pictures to post soon!
