Christmas Break and Modeling

So, since all the teachers and students get a Christmas Break... I decided to take one as well :) I should be feeling refreshed, but unfortunately, that's not the case when you are 4 months pregnant and chasing around a 2 and a half year old... no time for rest or naps, so no refreshing here! Ahh... the joys of parenting. Seriously, though, she is the joy of my life, no complaining!

I HAVE been doing more design work lately than photos, due to the lovely cold weather and my aversion to indoor portraiture so far... outdoor and natural light is just head over heels better in my personal opinion than any studio setting could ever be... but again --- MY opinion --- studio settings can do some nice things, too... I just don't have the equipment or space yet for that... but someday, I will! And that will be wonderful to have as a back-up option to give to my clients. So... until then....

I realize also that it has been a LONG time since my last post, over a month yesterday! Eek! So, for now... I will post our Christmas card that I designed... as well as some fun pictures of Miss Tate in her new found passion --- modeling --- and please disregard the picture quality --- she will only pose and smile for my dinky little point and shoot --- how nice is that??? I have some fun shoots coming up in the next few months and will be posting more from those when they happen. I also have some seniors that I am finishing up on that I will be posting soon, as well, so check back often for new and fun stuff!

did I forget to mention she chose this outfit??? and that the dress is WAY too small and barely covers her little booty... and there was a pink camo poncho as well as pink cowboy boots to accessorize with, but they were lost before I could snap a pic of that ensemble!!! She cracks me up :)
